Default Week 14, Workout A

I'm back in the big city for my workout today. Felt fairly strong on my squats with minor form issues. I switched the sumo DL +3 shrug reps for upright rows due to the aforementioned back issues. My back feels better now. Anyway, here's what my workout looked like today (after warmup):

Squat: 9,8,6 x 140kg
Bench: 5,5,5,10,10,10,14 x 65kg
Underhand BB Row: 10,10,10 x 85kg
Upright Rows: 10,8,8 x 50kg
Concentration Curls: 10,9 x 20kg
Skull Crusher: 14,12 x 25kg (+bar and end thingies)
Planks: 2 x 60sec.

Just got some new protein powder that I paid a pretty penny for (supplements are ridiculously expensive here). Hope it's not crappy!

Default Week 14, Workout B

Ingeniously I mistakenly took a Benadryl before I headed out for my workout. I meant to take the non-drowsy stuff but apparently I couldn't discern the difference between the white and pink pills so I made myself super drowsy before lifting despite a cup of coffee beforehand.

On the bright side, I took a little more time on my workout and hit some PRs. On the down side, I missed my bus and had to wait another hour for the next one to come by. It wasn't an issue though since it was nice out and I didn't have anything else to do.

Anyway, here's what I did yesterday after my warm-up:

DL: 5,5,5,5 x 160kg
Military Press: 5,5,5,10,10,10,14 x 35kg
Leg Press: 17,15,15 x 136kg
Pull-ups: 15,13,11 x body weight (~98kg)
CG Bench: 12,9 x 136kg
EZ Bar Curls: 15,14 x 22.5kg (+bar and end thingies)
Ab Wheel Roll-Outs: 21,20

Looking forward to Friday already. This time I'll choose the white pill.

Default Week 14, Workout C

No Benadryl this time so I was good to go. My stomach could have been a little emptier but otherwise I had a good workout overall. Even made my bus! Here's what my workout looked like (excluding warmups)

Squat: 21 x 100kg
Hack Squat: 12,11 x 90kg (I used my Versa Gripps this time but there was still some stalling on my posterior area... still think my ass is a little fat for this exercise)
Dips: 12,11,10 x body weight (+15kg)
Bar Rows (I have no idea what thing is called but it's not a barbell. I had to substitute with it since I maxed out the gym's DBs): 11,11,11 x 50kg
Arnold Press: 10,9,8 x 20kg
Incline DB Hammer Curls: 10,9 x 20kg
Triceps Ext.: 12,12 x the whole stack... no idea how much weight but the machine's a piece of crap.
Planks: 2 x 60sec.

Looking forward to the weekend and eating. Be back at it Monday.

Yesterday I had to shorten my workout a bit since when I came to the gym there was a skeleton in the squat rack. Thankfully the skeleton let me work in with him but he spent a lot of time on his phone between sets so I was behind on time. Default Week 15, Workout B

I had all the time in the world today to get through my program. No bus to catch since I was staying in the big city. Took my time resting in between sets of DLs and still got everything in in about an hour and ten minutes. Here's what I did today after warming up:

DL: 5,5,5,6 x 162.5kg (felt my back start to round on some of the later sets. My back will tell me how bad it was tomorrow morning)
Military Press: 5,5,5,10,10,10,15 x 35kg
Leg Press: 15,15,15 x 60kg
Pull-up (neutral grip):
Close Grip Bench: 12,8 x 82.5kg
Concentration Curls: 10,8 x 20kg
Planks: 2 x 60sec.

I'm going to try to get a workout in on Friday but we'll be setting up all night for a BJJ tournament the next morning and I'll be at the mercy of those with vehicles to get me to the gym. Might be a deload day. We'll see.
